Weight Loss Update

I’m doing okay. I’ve been sticking to my diet. I did allow myself to have an off day on Sunday. I didn’t go crazy, but I would not let myself feel guilty for sharing a malasada* with the kids (Our church is near a yummy bakery – I think we are going to make it a tradition to go there every Sunday after church.). Nor did I feel bad about the Dr. Pepper I drank.

I’ve been working out 4-5 days a week. Tae-Bo is still awesome, in my opinion. I can tell I lost some inches because my pants are fitting better.

Less than 2 weeks till the Coast Guard Ball. It’s not really a huge goal to lose any weight by then, but I would like to look my best. And with the help of Spanx, I think I’ll look great. haha

I am more successful with small goals, than if I try to lose XX amount of weight. Doing it slow and steady works best for most people, including myself. I’ve kept most of the weight/inches off for the past 6 months. I would like to lose 10-15 more pounds, overall. I would like to do it before Christmas, so I have 5 more months. That should be more than enough time, I hope.

I’m trying not to get discouraged. It does help that I till get to have some carbs at one meal or for a snack. 🙂

*If you are new to Oahu, you must try Leonard’s Bakery. It’s so yummy. They have all kinds of tasty sweets. They are best known for their malasadas. But they have so much more, including Hawaiian bread, which is dangerous. Hawaiian bread is SO yummy.
